Mock exams for German teachers and tutors
If you teach German, you already know the problem: your students need timed practice with real audio, and assembling that yourself costs you a weekend per level. Official publishers give you one model test and then sell you a coursebook. Here every level has five complete papers that a student sits in the browser, against the official clock, and that mark themselves the moment they submit.
Sound familiar?
- Building exam-format material from scratch eats your prep time.
- One official Modellsatz per level is not enough for a whole course.
- Free material online is inconsistent in level and usually has no audio.
- Marking a class set of mock papers costs an evening you do not have.
How we help
Five full papers per level, A1 to B2
Written to the official telc and Goethe format, with the real section order and timings.
They mark themselves
Each student gets a per-module percentage on submission, and their written answer is graded against the official criteria for the level.
A free section to hand out
The first section of the first mock at every level is free and needs no card, so you can show a student the real thing before they commit to anything.
Turn up to the lesson with data
A student who arrives with a scored mock turns "can we practise B1?" into an hour spent on the one module that failed.
Pick your level
Five complete mocks per level, sat online on the official clock and scored the moment you submit. One mock at every level is free. One level is €29. All 40 mocks, every level, are €45 — €1.12 per exam.
Frequently asked questions
+Can I use these with my students?
Yes. Each student sits the mocks in their own browser session under their own account, which is also what makes the scoring theirs.
+Is there a class or school licence?
Not yet. Access is per person: one payment of €45, or €1.12 per exam, opens every mock at every level for three months, and there is no seat management or teacher dashboard.
+Are these official telc or Goethe papers?
No. They are independently written practice exams that follow the official format, structure and difficulty. We are not affiliated with telc or the Goethe-Institut.
