Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of germanlanguagepractice.com (the “Site”) and the purchase of our digital products. By using the Site or buying a product, you agree to these Terms.

1. The products

We sell digital German exam preparation materials (mock exams, audio files, answer keys, and related practice tools) delivered electronically. Product descriptions on the Site form part of these Terms.

The Practice Hub is an online service: you take mock exams in your browser and receive automated scoring and AI-generated feedback. It is sold as a single payment granting access for a fixed period, described in section 3.

2. Purchases & delivery

Payment is processed securely by Stripe. After a successful payment, downloadable materials are delivered digitally to the email address you provide. Please ensure your email address is correct at checkout.

Practice Hub access is granted to the email address used at checkout. You must sign in with that same address to use it.

3. Practice Hub access period

Practice Hub access lasts 90 days (three months) from the date of purchase and then ends automatically.

This is a one-time payment, not a subscription. It does not renew and you will not be charged again. When the period ends your access simply stops; you may purchase a new period if you wish.

During the access period you may take every available mock exam as many times as you like, subject to section 5. We may add, change or retire individual mock exams; we do not guarantee that any specific exam remains available for the whole period.

4. Refunds & right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content.

Downloadable materials. By purchasing, you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal lapses once the download is made available to you.

Practice Hub. Your right of withdrawal lapses once you start your first mock exam, which is when we begin supplying the service. If you have not started a mock exam, you may cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund by emailing us.

No refunds are given more than 14 days after purchase, and no partial or pro-rata refunds are given for an access period that has already begun.

None of this affects your statutory rights where a product is faulty or not as described. If something is wrong, contact us at d@devkonic.com and we will make it right.

5. License & acceptable use

Purchased materials are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial study. You may not redistribute, resell, or publicly share the files. You agree not to misuse the Site or attempt to disrupt its operation.

6. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, except third-party trademarks (such as Goethe-Institut and telc, which belong to their respective owners), is owned by us or our licensors. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Goethe-Institut or telc gGmbH; our materials are independent practice resources.

7. Disclaimer

Our materials are practice resources and do not guarantee any particular exam result. The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that product.

9. Changes & governing law

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s jurisdiction as stated in our Impressum.
